Air 1

Air 1 is a 2008 International/Summit air and light unit with a 300HP international diesel engine. Air 1 has a 100kw mechanical drive generator, and a Mako 33.2 CFM @6000 PSI air compressor. Air 1 has 2-9000 watt Wil-Burt light towers. The height of Air 1 is 11 feet 4 inches, the width is 10 feet, the length is 27 feet, and the weight is 35,000LBS

Spare Pumper 1301

1301 is a 1993 Pierce Dash pumper that has a 300 HP Cummins engine. 1301 has a 1250 GPM pump with 750 gallon water tank, and 8kw gas generator. The height of 1301 is 9 feet 4 inches, the length is 32 feet 11 inches, the width is 9 feet 6 inches, and the weight is 38,120 LBS. 1301 has a transmission retarder to assist in slowing the vehicle for stopping. Pumper 1301 was purchased from the Edgewood Fire/EMS to be used as loanable pumper for any department in Kenton County when a unit is out of Service for an extended period of time.

Tanker 1

Tanker 1 is  2003 International 7400/Summit Tanker. Tanker 1 has 330hp engine with Jacobs Engine Brake to assist in slowing the vehicle. Tanker 1 is 9' 5" tall and weighs 33,040lbs when full of water and 16,213 when empty. Tanker 1 has a 2020 gallon tank, 595gpm CET portable pump, and 3000 gallon portable pond.

Training Pumper 1302

Training Pumper 1302 is  a 1979 Ford/Pirsch. Pumper 1302 has Detroit Diesel engine. Pumper 1302 weighs 35,000 lbs. Pumper 1302 was donated to the KCFCA by the Bromley Fire Department. This Pumper is used when training new recruits.

Ambulance 1314

Ambulance 1314 is a 1998 Ford E-450/Horton Ambulance. 1314 has a 7.3 liter Power Stroke Diesel Engine. The height of 1314 is 9 feet 4 inches, the length is 25 feet, the width is 8 feet 2 inches, and the weight is 14,050 LBS. Ambulance 1314 was purchased from the Elsmere Fire District to be used as loanable Ambulance for any department in Kenton County when a unit is out of Service for any period of time. Ambulance 1314 is also equip with Bariatric Equipment including Large Capacity cot, Loading ramps, and winch to load bariatric patients. 1314 is available at any time to assist transportation of bariatric patients. Ambulance 1314 Ambulance 1314 is Licensed By Kentucky Board of EMS through the Elsmere Fire District.

Ambulance 1315 is Licensed By Kentucky Board of EMS through the Independence Fire District.

Utility Truck

The KCFCA Utility Truck is a 2002 Ford F-250 Pick Up Truck with a Triton V-10 Engine. The Utility Truck is equipt with a gooseneck and weight distribution hitch systems. The Utility Truck is used to move any of the trailered training props as well as the Safety House.

Fire Investigation Unit

The KCFCA Fire Investigation Unit is a 2007 Ford E-250 Utility Van with a Ford 5.7l V-8 Engine. The weight of FIU is 8900 lbs, the height is 7 feet, the FIU is 6 feet wide.The Fire Investigation Unit is used to house and transport tools and equipment for the investigation of fires.
