This course is designed for Law Enforcement, Paramedics, EMT’s, and Firefighters.
HOST: Ft. Mitchell Police, Ft. Mitchell Fire/EMS, and Kenton County Homeland Security & Emergency Management
The S.A.V.E. system is designed to enhance on-scene emergency care, recover and extraction of persons involved in Active Shooter/Mass Casualty situations. The S.A.V.E. system will provide the latest tactical methodology and instruction to assist your agency in implementing critical policy and procedures to effectively rescue endangered persons from a SEMI-SECURED environment. Participants will receive a compilation of hands on/ short lecture skill building sessions with a culmination field training exercise. Each participant that successfully completes this course will be able to bring back to their department valuable training and policy ideas as it relates to:
Incident/Crisis Planning Forward Collection Points (FCP) Setup and Security Extrication Methodology and Equipment Considerations Patient Sorting and Tactical Assessments Team Formations and Tactical Movement Immediate Emergency Transport (IET) Immediate Action Plan (IAP)
